Hi! I'm Laetitia Abbenes, owner of Northstar Media.

Having found my passion for heavy music at an early age, I started working in the music industry as promotion and marketing coordinator for the booking agency Loud Noise in the Netherlands, who organize Dynamo Metal Fest, Into the Grave, CityRock Leeuwarden and CityRock Eindhoven, Tributeland and The Sound of Revolution. In 2018, I accepted a job at the indie metal label Season of Mist as European PR, where I worked with (metal) bands such as Rotting Christ, Abbath, Saor, Vévaki, Auðn, Numenorean, Heilung, Carach Angren and many more. Later on, my tasks shifted to digital marketing, playlisting and catalogue management.

Ready for a new adventure, I started my own PR and marketing business and left my job at the label early 2023. Currently, North Star Media has clients such as the renowned extreme metal festivals Inferno Metal Fest, Beyond the Gates, the label By Norse Music (home of Wardruna, Kalandra, Jonna Jinton & more) and AISAmusic Management, and I co-organize the Nordic Night events run by this company.

Aside from PR, marketing and project management, I assist in grant applications in Netherlands, Iceland, and various other European countries and copy writing. If you are curious about how I can help you, get in touch now!
